Preschool Program

First United Methodist Preschool  provides an environment in which a child's development can be individualized and enhanced under the guidance of a trained Christian staff. 

Our program consists of a well-balanced integration of science, reading and math readiness, language development, music, dramatic play, physical activity, and free play.

Preschool I is for children who are age 3 by August 1. It meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00 p.m. 

Preschool II is for children who are age 4 by August 1. It meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 – 12:00 p.m.

High Fives is for children who miss the Kindergarten cut-off, but are close enough to the age of 5, that an accelerated program fits their needs. It also meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00 - 12:00 p.m.

As a service to parents, early arrival, Lunch Bunch, and late stay programs are also offered which extend our hours on request.
