Sunday School

Picture of VBS Sunday School fun! First United Methodist Church is proud of our outstanding Christian education program, with Sunday School classes available for children of all ages. We invite you to join us - all are welcome and anyone may join a class at anytime. Our Children's classes meet from 9:30-10:30 a.m. every Sunday.

These are the teaching goals for FUMC Children’s Ministry:

By kindergarten, our children should know:

God loves me.
God made me.
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

By 5th grade, our children should know:

I need to make wise choices.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated, with respect.
