Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a tradition at First Church, attracting children not only from within the church but throughout the community. Its purpose is to help participants grow in knowledge and understanding of God’s love for them and all people as expressed through Jesus Christ. 

For VBS 2009, Crocodile Dock will rock FUMC on June 29 through July 3 from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Crocodile Dock is where fearless kids shine God's Light! Each day, they will take part in fun Bible learning that they can see, hear, touch, and even taste! Bible Point crafts, team-building games, Bible songs that get them singing and dancing, and tasty treats are just a few of the Crocodile Dock activities that will help faith flow into real life!
