Prayer

The Congregation of First United Methodist Church is a caring family of believers who affirm the positive, transforming power of prayer.

Morning Prayer Group
Join others at 7:30 a.m. each Wednesday in the Chapel for a time of personal meditation, prayers for the needs of others, and celebration of Holy Communion.

Prayer Chain
First Church has several active prayer chains. If an emergency or crisis situation confronts you or someone you know and you desire prayer, call the church office or one of the pastors. A prayer chain will be activated immediately.

Prayer Requests
If you have needs, we encourage you to fill out a prayer request card. These cards are located in the pews and in the booklet racks near the Sanctuary.  You may also e-mail your prayer request to fumc_stcharles@sbcglobal.net with "Prayer Request" in the subject line.
