Confirmation

Confirmation is an important time in the faith life of students. Students in the 7th grade are invited to join Confirmation classes beginning in January and running through the middle of May. During classes, youth have the opportunity to explore their faith and learn more about United Methodism. Classes are led by Pastor Robin Roderick and Nancy Cooper. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m.

Confirmation also includes a retreat and Confirmation Days which include visits to a Jewish Synagogue, Roman Catholic Church, Greek Orthodox Church and time with the Bishop. Everything culminates with a Service of Confirmation in worship where our youth publicly profess their faith.

NEW! - Faith Exploration (Sr. High Confirmation) for students in 10th -12th grade will begin in October on Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you have questions about your faith and would like to dig deeper - this is the class for you! This class is for everyone (whether or not your have been confirmed) who want to learn more about what it means to live a life of faith.
